I own a 2009 DE. Today I committed to the Short Ram Intake that I'm sure most of you know about.
I had a bit of a battle with my MAF sensor wiring as its cut quite short on my car but got there in the end with great results and a much stronger intake sound. However, my car has had an EGR light on since 2014 and as it was failed closed I didn't pay any mind to it, After the install the fault code has cleared and I've had no engine light on startup. Any idea why this could be? I am under the impression there must have been a bad connection on the ECU plug. Just thought it was interesting and everyone will probably find it intriguing.
