ultimate shifting machine 1.0

I can't say for sure, I would imagine it would work. Probably the easiest way to find out would be have your dealer look up the part number for the regular 6 and the Speed6 to see if they are the same. Or, you could buy one and then resell it if it doesn't work.

A lot will depend upon how his engine compartment is configured. Don't know if he has an i or S, or if he has any sort of intake setup. Not trying to scare you off element1290, it is a very easy install but most of us with Speed6s have an intake which means you just reach down to the shift link and replace the weight (5-10 minutes like Steve said).

I have a 6i, i have an intake system on order but have not recieved it yet so right now it is all stock in the engine compartment

Without a picture I can't say for sure, but since you have the same basic engine the Speed6 does, I would say you will probably have no problem installing the weight when you remove the stock airbox.

ok< well I planned on putting in my cai system this weekend when I have time and I am going to put in the order for the shifter weight this week too, once i get it in and install it ill post up and let everyone know how it went

I just ordered the TWM Stage 2 Short Shifter with the bushings from PG. I can't wait to get this installed.

My tranny started shifting even worse after getting the clutch TSB taken care of...although the clutch engage point became much easier to work with. The stock clutch used to engage at the very top where the rebound is the heaviest.

yeah mine does that too, making 2nd gear horrible to shift into at powerpoint, i will say that there is not much difference between the actual gearboxes, i think the SS was designed to be very similar to stock, but it is much tighter and feels way more solid, plus its physically shorter and with the weighted knob gears fit into place quick.

I thought I was the only one with this issue. Not to mention mazda put atx fluid in the trans after the clutch tsb!

k, thats what i thought. the factory peice doesnt look anything like the awr one so i was curious. might pick this up cuz i still feel a lot of slop even with the rear dogbone mount in.

I might get that one. Qwik how does ur SU RMM work for you?? It definately helped me but im still getting more "bangs" when shifting agressively than I would like. I would like to not have to feather the clutch so much and just push the clutch "in and out."

Im running a turbine tech front engine mount. Its a much more solid feel than just the su mount.
