i dont know why people care about iraq so much.
the country is going down the ****hole and all we can debate about is whats happening in iraq?
i suppose its a good deversion for bush. keep everyone thinking about iraq so we dont have to think about how the country is deteriorating.

Well Iraq and other middleeast countries, are counties where terrorists are harbored. It all goes back to september 11. At the start of the Iraq war our inteligence pointed that Iraq had links with the al qaeda and it still does. I don't understand how you see, Iraq, is a threat to this country as a diversion for bush?!?
For God sake we lost more people September 11 than Pearl Harbor. We have to take action to prevent further tradgies, we cannot wait for the terrorists to attack us again.

I support our troops over there right now. It wasn't their decision but they are there defending that nation under orders of the president. I pray that we don't have that many more casualties, but we will... it's war.. in war people die... it's the nature of the beast.

NOW, after destroying that country, yes, there are terrorists everywhere in it. Some flocked there from neighboring countries, some began to hate us due to occupation. The only terrorism WITHIN Iraq today has been created by US BEING THERE.
Its pretty simple, really, and agreed upon by liberals and conservatives alike.

We had inteligence that iraq had nuclear weapons at the time. Are we supposed to just wait for these weapons to hit us? Iraq was not really a war that we could avoid, well we could, but it would only come back to haunt us.
The difference between the US and Al Queda/Iraq is the USA has morals. These people are nuts, they do as they want, they do not think the same as us thus look at september 11th. We simply cannot say to them, don't do it, because that will never work, like Kerrys plan/approach is for example. If we do not take action against these people, they will hit us, the question is not how, but when. Kerry's approach is to strengthen our defenses to basically to wait for them to hit us. I don't know about you, but I really don't want to be hit-I'd rather go to war to take them down were they live.

the UN, ha, good luck with them. They wouldn't help us when we needed them at the start of the war, what makes you think they listen now?

HAHAHAHA, do you know WHY the UN wouldn't help us at the start of the war?!?!? For starters. W decided to go AGAINST the UN decision, breaking several peace treaties in the process and invade Iraq against the wishes of a majority of the free world.
Secondly, after caturing Saddam the UN OFFERED to help Bush by coming in and controlling the situation and reconstruction....Bush turned them away and said that this was HIS fight....

Simple as this, President Bush is a man of moral conviction, decency, and common sense in America. Kerry only seems to be concerned with himself and he changes his position according to the climate at the time. President Bush has the balls to take on any attacker. He knows that if you can have all of the weapons in the world, but if you are afraid to use them, no one is afraid of you. But if you show that you mean business, it's more likely folks will come around quicker. On Iraq, let's look at history here, Hitler may not have been a serious threat to America in 1930. But if America would have attacked Germany in 1930 and de-throned Hitler before he got his ball rolling, this would have scared Japan and the rest of the axis of evil into thinking that America was crazy. Yeah maybe we would have lost a couple thousand soldiers such as we are losing in Iraq today. It is a serious and terrible loss, but we would not have lost over 300,000 American Soldiers in World War II trying to defeat this major threat. So it's this simple take'em out now while they are somewhat weak, or let them grow and make it harder later. I could go on and on why President Bush is the best man for the impeding job. If you want lower taxes, less government, strong national defenses, and moral character in the White House, vote for President Bush. If you want higher taxes, four years of deception, no moral value, and a weak defense strategy, go for Kerry, Osama wants you to.

He's bigger and badder than everyone else so instead of listening to his nerdy friends he goes and kicks over rocks looking for problems where they don't exsist. I'd love to go toe-to-toe with him....see how macho he really his.

What Bush did was right and it was the right decision for this country. First of all the UN was failing, all the inspectors were removed. Second, if we would have just waited like I believe you are suggesting, well then you are taking a risk of another attack. Thirdly, why would the US let others come in if all we needed was to put the period on the sentence.
I have nothing more to say to you, since it seems to me that it far beyond your capacity. I am not going to argue with you about your opinions vs. facts.
