all the dumbass rich kids at my school suck, their parents buy them whatever they want and then they go out and **** it all up with total disregard toward being grateful. today, i learned that some preppy punk at my school got a brand new for lightning, wrecked it the 3rd day he had it, then he gets a brand new tahoe...totals it after 4 1/2 weeks, then he gets NEW CORVETTE and totals it in about 2 weeks...i just dont get why his parents, after the first incident, said "here drive this nice 1982 corrola until you can learn to not drive fast and run into things."

i think their parents dont care because they have so much money and all they care about is their jobs and looking cool for the other parents. its almost like the teenagers parents are teenagers! so ridiculous

I don't mean to sound harsh, but is that really true?
Can you trust your source for that information?

I find it all hard to believe, that's all.

I know it happens though, I have almost no respect for people who receive handouts such as this.

Dood, they gave a known moron driver a Vette. If he can total 2 trucks in accidents what do you think will happen to him in the same accident with a Vette.
DEAD RETARD.
His parents are trying to kill him now.

I totally believe that s***. That's f'd up. I also used to see some of that stuff up here. Parents are getting worse every generation, rich or poor.

He should be shot for killing a C5...

i believe it...my across the street neighbor's kid is a complete waste of space...when he was younger he used to just sit outside drink and smoke...then his dad (a lawyer no doubt) buys him a brand new tahoe...wrecks that...next on the list is a brand new durango...he actually passed out and drove it right through my friend's house a mile away...ended up totally the durango, a chevy silverado, and a suburban at once...

the worst part of it was his dad...came and looked at the damage didn't say sorry...or anything...just said send me the bill...and two weeks later had his dumba$$ son back on the streets with a brand new vw gti...

I beleive it, same s*** happened when i was in high school, kids would get phat rides, **** em, get a new one, same, new one, same, etc, i was like what the hell, im a good driver no wrecks, and i get a 1994 ford ranger, although i had pimped it out somewhat, but still $30k vehicles to get ragged and totaled like that, its not fair to the good kids damn it. Most of the little fuckers were the ones who got the good grades easily, partied and did drugs and drank alky. I didnt do any of that and still dont, I dont understand life sometimes, how come the bad guys get all the good shiznit (drug dealers/theifs) , and us good guys get nada?

I volenteered at the high school here the other day and parked in the student parking lot. There is no way that teenagers in high school can afford newer: lexus, land rover, WRX, F-250, nissan...

spoiled brats,,, i bought my first car from my dad,, a 1991 corolla,,, loved that car, and it never got a scratch because i payed for it. Kids who ruin stuff and get another free chance are just asking for trouble.

yeah, spoiled weenies...their parents are more hard headed than them...heres a list of the nicer cars around (btw, anyone in arlington will tell you martin is the rich school) 2 people have escalades, a couple s2000s, a couple heavily modded supras, tons of lifted modded tahoes, several lightnings, 3 or 4 wrx's, 2 modified, a several brand new bimmers, one girl has a mercedes, some short bastard has a 97 m3 and he can hardly see over the steering wheel...it all just makes me mad

whaattt!? are you joking! oh well... they'll be living off their parents for the rest of their lives, not appreciating anything.

Just to let you guys know not all is bad with these kids.
I had a kid in my class and his parents promised him a new RX300 if he got all A's. He did and got his ride.
He was not a rich asshole moron though. He was very smart, played soccer almost at a national level an ddid other sports onto of always staying on honor role and never really getting in any trouble.
I guess he offset the royal ***** that had not an untapped resource on her by the entire senior class! She got a brand new eclipse for being a pot head slut that could find her way out of a room if she didn't have someone to fallow.

did you ever think to ask your parents to move you to another school? This is not the first time you have spoken out in disgust over students at your school, and it is obviously causing you some distress. Sit back, relax, and wait. In highschool I didn't have a car, I had to ride the bus, and I didn't get my license until I was almost 19. I had to drive a dodge caravan for around a year and a half. The only reason I was able to get my P5 is because some lady hit me and totalled the van. I think you should consider yourself very lucky to have a car at your age, and a cool one at that. Sometimes we get so involved in other peoples lives that we forget to enjoy the great things we ourselves have. Peace out J

Ya know Stealth... You aren't doing too bad yourself rollin in a '02 p5, with leather no less. While I agree that many of these kids are spoiled and have no appreciation for what they have been given. There are others who may think the same of you. It's a matter of perspective.

My first car was a $700 '66 Mustang GT Fastback that had to be brought home on the back of a flatbed. Took 3 months to get it road worthy. After that any major work waited till the weekends half the time during my Junior year I drove it with some body panel missing that was waiting to get replaced or with sanded primer and bondo spots on it. While the more affluent kids were rollin in there LaBarons, 5.0s, Blazers(Full Size) or lowered mini trucks (I am a child of the late 80's early 90's). But by the end of my senior year when that car was done (mostly at least, but is a restoration ever really done) all of those rich kids were jealous of my s***! In fact at graduation 2 different kids parents offered to by the car from me. One for their kid, the other for themselves. Did eventually sell it, though now I wish I hadn't.

P.S. Please note that I am not saying you don't appreciate what you have as your distress over those who don't appreciate theirs would be proof that I am wrong.

hahaha....i bought my first car from my grandparents...85 oldsmobile sad part is i actually miss that car...i love it when little high school kids pull up in a brand new car that's way out of there league and say they paid for it all...with savings from there summer job...no way a summer job pays for a lexus or bmw...either that or i should have gotten a much better summer job...lol

i appreciate what i have, it seems like the idiots at my school just crash it, then go out and party and try to figure out what they want next...i know if i total my car, i dont get anything else...i just cant wait to see how these kids turn out in a few years
