im gettin a test pipe and down pipe this week. im think i wanna go with corksport because of all the negative things and problems ive heard about turboxs. whatd you guys think? corksport or turboxs? and if any of you are running either, how do you like it? thanks guys

What negative things have you heard about TurboXS? I have the PG test pipe on the way and plan to order the TXS downpipe soon. TXS's dp is cheaper than the corksport, and I have never had any problems with there stuff on any of my Subaru's.

hmm i wanna hear more about this.. my PG test pipe is also on the way and then i'm getting a corksport dp.. but what about turboxs one? anyone has problems with it? if its cheaper and does the same thing.. hey....

i havent heard anything about the downpipe but the whole issue with the race pipes leaking and what not. i havent had any experience with either companies yet i just wanna get the most reliable product. im leaning towards corksport. im liking the divorced gases design

yeah I think turboxs has a bad rep on here just because of the race pipe cause everyone that Ive talked to doesnt even know of anything negative about turboxs.

well i already have the turboxs racepipe in the mail, but i was thinkin about gettin the corksport dp. some people were sayin not to mix and match, do u think its that big of a deal?

cause from what ive been reading corksport seems to be more of a reliable company and the fact that they work exclusively with mazdas makes me think that their products would be the better choice for our cars.

corksport is dedicated to mazdas and nothing more. to some people thats pretty important, to others its not. turboXS is a name thats been around a long time and well respected in many circles.

the corksport downpipe is a divorced gases design and the only one for the mazdaspeed3 or mazdaspeed6 that is. there are numerous arguments as to why this is a superior design and i agree with them. efficiency, temps, flow, etc. the turboxs uses a cast bell housing to mate to the turbo, which also has its advantages. alot of companies go this route such as Cobb.

there has been alot said about the fitment of the turboXS race pipe. if you check, the race pipe can no longer be bought on its own from thier website. our experience has been that the test pipe fits best when used with other turboXS parts such as in thier turbo back exhaust combo deal.

thanks captain. im new to the modding world and from the various posts ive seen you post, you seem like a very knowledgeable reliable person to get advice from. the turboxs RP is in the mail already but im really leaning towards sending tht one back and buying the corksport DP and RP from you at PG. do you hav them both in stock???

like i said earlier im new to performance cars and parts but have learned so much and wanna learn hands on with my MS3. other then the long amount of time do you think this install is possible for me?

and one more question, im looking at gettin the trz mount. im aiming for my car to be a fast as hell daily driver, not so much autox and drag...yet haha. should i go with the delrin or poly??

thanks in advance and sorry for all the ?'s.you just seem like the guy with alot of the right answers lol

hey ken, i got a PG race pipe.. will the Corksport DP fit with no problem? what about the turboxs dp?... i cant make up my mind lol.. (help) hahah thanks.
