Turbosmart Dual Port BOV vs. COBB XLE BPV Opinions needed!

I'm looking into getting either a Turbosmart Dual Port BOV or Cobb XLE BPV

As I am pending a sale with my HKS SSQV (love it, but want the added benefit of the VTA/recirc hybrid modes both the Turbosmart and Cobb valves offer), I'm wondering which valve you guys like better?

I haven't heard much about guys using the Cobb XLE but it's cheaper, and the same valve is being used on their championship TT GT-R this year, so... those results talk.

But! I'm not a racer, just a weekend warrior, and so for me, I like sound as well as performance and haven't seen much on the XLE at all, whereas there's plenty of vids and whatnot about the Turbosmart...

So, what are your opinions!? And if you have video clips of your valves and how they sound please link me!

I've had mine for over 2 years now without a HITCH!! simply love it. I've heard that the COBB is also made by the turbosmart guys at least manufacturing part. I would say stick with the best and that's TurboSmart...just my 2 cents.

I also heard that since the Cobb unit operates faster it doesn't build as much pressure before release and is therefore a lot quieter... I think I'll be going the Turbosmart route afterall.

Well actually the only part that I dislike about it is how it adjusts, I thought it's old school to have a lock nut on the top of BPV/BOV's but guess some still like to use it...unlike the turbosmart, just twist and go.

I guess I'd have a little more peace of mind with a lock nut over just being able to twist the top of the valve, but I know Turbosmart knows what they're doing.

personally I hated the lock nut models, cuz you have to do it 2 handed and whenever you try to lock down the nut then the shaft turns back a bit, just a major pain in the A.

I have a Turbosmart Dual, and i love it! as I say that I actually need to sell it. Getting married and some things just gotta go. lol. Anyways if I were to do it all over, Turbosmart all the way. Good sound (head turner) and just great craftsmanship!
