I'd avoid greddy like the plague...

check out miataturbo.net if your interested in DIY...theres a ton of info on upgrading greddy, diy, and other forums.

I'm building a t25 based kit using begi mani/dp.

Supercharging is def not an option on the 1.6 because you can drop tons of money and NEVER break 200 rwhp.
if you look at the qualifing list in the OP, you'll see he has limited skills, tools, and limited (valuable)time as well. A DIY set up for people like me and you that have more experience is fine, but not for a first timer.

True...but its my first time dealing w/ a turbo...it just requires a LOT of research...and longer time. I'm getting my own Megasquirt up and running...however, I have a LOT of time at college to research, and I'm in no hurry, I just want to do it right. :)

However, I do see your point about time and getting a premade kit and upgrading, it will make getting boost simpler, but still allow for a lot of time wrenching if you like to upgrade.

To the OP:
You can find used/modified greddy kits a lot on miataturbo.net or miata.net (sometimes) not sure about clubroadster.net. You can upgrade your fuel pump to a walbro 190 HP...1.8 injectors, a bipes acu to control timing, a fuel pressure regulator and you could do water injection instead of IC for a little under 2k for an entire kit, make decent power (160-ish or more) I'm not sure.
