Turbohoses SMIC and Hardpipes *installed* (56k go walk around earth)

Got my Turbohoses SMIC from BMC. Great seller that gave me an awesome deal. I had the Turbohoses hardpipes for a while now, but i was waiting for a deal on a SMIC before i installed it all. this is going to be a fun weekend for installing this and my Injen CAI. Notice that I didn't get the BOV adaptor welded on. i'm going for a better than stock setup and didn't want any BOV issues to deal with. i may upgrade to a better BPV in the future though when i add engine management and up the boost.

Here's the SMIC (practically new) and the hardpipes, after a rub with some Mother's mag and aluminum polish.

I'll write a review in here after i install it this weekend.

yeah, it'll work with the stock intake. it will also work with the injen and aem cai. turbohoses just released their version of a short ram intake.

I have the exact same setup, no BoV. I have the Forge BPV to replace the stock BPV.

I also have the Injen CAI, but I am selling that and getting the Turbohoses Shortram (shocked)

is your forge bpv the MSP replacement kit? or is it a totally different one? the MSP replacement kit sits in the exact same spot as the stock one, but it is anodized aluminum with better sealing that can hold higher boost.... not like the bad plastic one we already have.

Mine is the MSP Replacement Kit. It's sits in the exact same spot and is made of the anodized aluminum, chrome color.

The BPV's don't have much for sound, so I would say same sound. As for perfomance, it can handle higher PSI's and it looks great.

OK, i was thinking of the Greddy TypeRS recirc boV that Apexr sells, pricey, but it looks so awesome. i'm sure that would produce more sound.

the apexr kit looks like this:

interesting looking kit, i think it's meant to work with whatever pipe/intake combination you have. so it's kind of universal. anybody have this kit and care to review it for us?
