Turbo stopped working

I'm just as confused reading this as you seem to be writing it. Sounds like a whole lot of assumptions going on here, and no legitimate troubleshooting, potentially at the expense of a perfectly good gas station.

My assumption of no boost was originally becasue I had the typical smoking problem since last year. The car drove fine until I hit 3k RPM'ish WOP and the car just stops as if it there was no power what so ever. (This never happened until that day btw)
There were other assumptions such as hydro lock since it was raining heavily... but then again the car would not run at all so that assumption was out...
With no CEL I had no clue so I limped to the nearest mazda service where they diagonsed it as bad gas.

As for the turbo, I finally found a dealer where they would honor my warranty even with the mods. They are our in Suffolk county called Bright Bay Mazda, and had great service. Only time will tell whether it will or will not smoke. We'll see.

Exhaust mods do not account for a design flaw. Smoke comes sooner the more free flowing the exhaust is but it does not cause the smoke. Just speeds up the process.

I have CPE full cat back exhaust btw.

I wanted to sell my car in few months but I know smoking turbo topic will come up when the buyer asks. I just wanted do my due diligence and fix it
