alright. updates going back a few months or however long its been since ive updated this...

so i wasnt happy with the way the back cab wall was so i cut it back out and decided to start fresh.

the 4runner rear hangs out over the back cab wall so it needed to be trimmed and pulled in to sit flush.

outside trimmed. need to trim the inside.

yep.

so i have been talking to a club called No Regrets for awhile now about petitioning to be a member and i had to take my truck to Denver so they could see it and i could get my logo so i decided i needed to get as much bare metal primered as possible since it would be on a trailer over the passes in the middle of winter.

made it about that far before ups showed up with my new packages.

i wonder what this could be?

new bead rolled sheetmetal for my cab floor. i decided i want to redo it since i need more headroom.

and the summit box was dun dun dun...

absolutely love the paper!

so im not sure if i posted up my independent rear suspension setup that i picked up for this truck or not.

5 lug irs from a Ford Tbird. 8.8 rear end should be good enough for what im doing...

pulled the axles and such because i have to take a total of 6" out of it to make it clear the bedsides...

got in my new gilmer drive belt since i relocated my alternator.

so it was getting close to when i had to take my truck to Denver so i decided i needed to get it all sorted out and lifted up and out of the garage. it hasnt moved in over a year...

I really like the ranger front bumper, fits well... even in black to match the grill. You should keep it black and paint the rear bumper black too. The 8.8 Ford rear should work well, I know a lot of the Jeep guys like swapping the 8.8's from explorers for wheelin, Pretty stout I guess. Once again, looking good, keep it comin!

got my rhd gauge pod in and installed my aem uego gauge.

the corners of my ranger front bumper were sagging and i couldnt figure a good way to lift them up. then i decided i would just get the bumper quick release so i picked up these bwr ones. not a huge fan of bwr stuff, but i figured these would do the trick!

bumper quick disconnects installed.

back from denver and decided its time to get busy on this truck.

cutting the old floor out.

new floor layed in...

welding in the new bracing for the floor. the idea is to get back about 2 inches of headroom from the previous floor.

got in my stuff to redo my turbo manifold from Columbia River Madrel bending.

more progress on the floor bracing.

thats where i am as of right now. got more parts headed this way. also i am going to hopefully be pulling the motor tomorrow and getting it sent off for a rebuild by the end of the week.

ill try and keep this updated better because that was ******* brutal!

its still being worked on (obviously) but its such a pain in the ass to post pics on here and to navigate the site from my phone. i am hardly ever around my desktop computer and it is slower than s*** anyway.

thats why this never gets updated anymore...

ya i have a crazy work schedule normally but we have been slow lately. I hope its not a sign of things to come.

I got in No Regrets. Its a worldwide club and has the nicest guys/gals ever and some amazing trucks!

Im looking forward to the irs also but i have other stuff to do before that.

Ill try and post up some pics today!
