okay...im pissed...i spent the last two days fighting with this damn thing getting it setup and its f'in up bad...it builds boost and blows off and all but when it spools up especially in 2nd it actually feels like it slows down...and doesnt really, well boost... it actually felt faster NA

I do have a CEL, but probably either the ac fan is disconnected or i just put a breather on the egr for temp.

also my oil pressure gauge is just Td in with the feed line ontop of the turbo...that cant be the actual oil pressure reading can it? beause before i hooked the turbo up i just had the feed line leading directly into the sending unit and it showed much higher numbers

Do you have a wideband? What are your air/fuel ratios and what exactly is the CEL? No, leaving the A/C fan unlplugged will not cause a CEL...

I got a CEL for my fan, but I'm thinking it was because the voltage was messed up or something where I wired it in.. it said something about the cooler fan relay.

took it for another drive and the cel dissappeared... i dont have a Wideband yet, but my narrow pegs rich when i gas it...

anyway its like its accelerating good, but when the turbo spools up it slows WAY down...

...also when it boost and i hear the dump open, i can floor it and it wont rev any higher.....thats at like 5k or before in like 2nd or 3rd.....

Exactly, sounds like your pegging way too rich at WOT. I'd hold off doing too much more of anything until you get a wideband as that narrowband has pretty much used up its usefullness. Weird about the fan though. I technically no longer have an A/C fan - I have two 12" SPAL slimline pullers both operating as primary fans (using the primary fuse). The A/C fan wire is wrapped up and tucked away and has been so since mid October with no issues.

hahaha nice. I had a narrow band once it made my car hard to drive. because it was messing with my eyes all the time.

son of a b****... im trading for a ssafc and i will have it in about 2 weeks...but i cant afford the wideband until my birthday (march 13th..) should i hold off on putting the ssafc in until i get the wideband?

why would it be running so rich i have the msp ecu...i mean i know its known to run rich but s***....

Yes, it's running rich between shifts and it's having trouble maintaining an idle.

You'll enjoy that SS AFC when you get it.. and when you do get a wideband you'll be able to see just how rich it is. Do you know if that MSP ECU had been flashed or if it was a non-flashed one?

it idles fine, idk if its been flashed or not...i had some friends come over and take a look at it, and they also said that it was just running way too rich...what i dont understand is why its running as rich as it is...i mean stock msp's dont run into problems this drastic..

yeah but then again you are only only running a stock msp ecu....your turbo and your manifold aren't stock so it's gonna **** s*** up, you can't really expect to only have the stuff that you have and expect it to work without some sort of tuning
