Turbo Problems!!

will the spot i showed in my pic work for the o2 sensor? or if it wont where would you recommend?
You'll be better off putting the primary O2 sensor in the merge collector right before the turbo flange. You want the O2 sensor basing its readings off of all four cylinders, not just one.

ya but thats not gonna really change anything from where it is now is it?
EDIT: nevermind, I just noticed where the EWG is located. Man, this is another reason why the OBX manifold is crap. You just might have to settle for placing it on one of the runners although I don't know what impact that will have. Your other option is to reconnect the dump tube to the downpipe.

And this is why I chose the msp turbo and mani! I would route the wg to dp before tapping an o2 sensor spot on one of the runners.

it be way easier and cheaper to weld in a bung... before i do anything i know a couple of guys that are really good with turbos and stuff that i will ask..one has a sweet boosted civic running low 12's

Cel came back on today.....

here they are

P0102-MAF circuit low input
P0103-MAF circuit High input
P0138-02S High Volt B1S2

well right now the car isnt driveable and its throwing the Mass air high voltage

i went out to drive it and put it in reverse and it stalled...then it would stall in first also and the only way to get it to go is to rev it real high...then id floor it and it would go any faster... now it barely idles and is jumping up and down...

i reset the ecu and it instantly threw the maf high voltage cel.... So do you all think that its just a bad mass air sensor? and if so i might be the first case of messing up the maf by putting it on the pressure side lol

fixed it.....dirty connection between maf and harness...still runs rich but definitely better...no cels either!

also im still running the NA spark plugs..could this be causing any of my problems? im definitely gonna get new ones soon

congrats on getting fixed. i would agree that the plugs could be the reason as to running rich. i'm going to pick up a set soon before i do install. is there anything you guys recommend?

lol get all the small stuff first...i did and i didnt have to make any trips to autozone. also take the harness of the coils before your ready to fire it up and turn it over a few times to get prime the turbo. only thing that took me so long was fitment issues with the wastegate hitting the PS pump, and having to make my own hotpipe and route it through the core support

well now that you have it figured out basically, post some pics. I only have a few more things to get like couplers, hose, fitting for vac block, j pipe, spark plugs and some small hose clamps. When I go home for spring break I think I'm going to go ahead and put a few things on and just plug it up so there's no vac leak to shorten time when i do install.

ill get it cleaned up after school tomorrow and post some pics..right now i have the wiring for the o2s and oil sender pretty ghetto looking...

Put new plugs in it and change the oil, the MSP runs pig rich as is now you've been dumping fuel into it which ends up in the oil. Don't believe me, smell the dip stick.

Your right about thee MSP running so rich that the oil smells like fuel! When I first smelt the oil in the MSP i was like WTF... then went and smelt the oil in my gf 6 and my truck just to confirm that I wasn't smelling things. lol

It smells like diesel or that motor flush stuff. If you've been having issues with over fueling in any way check it and change the oil. I change my oil every 1500-2000 miles.

I don't know about either... i don't go around trying to get high off of things you know! lol I just change my oil every 3k with syn.

LOL I'm not purposely trying to get high but I do have a good nose for it. I work with diesel a lot and I used to use that motor flush deal so I remember what it smells like and how it feels on your fingers. It breaks down the oil in a bad way if you intend to drive the car that way.
