post 26 shows the toyota gearbox sandwiched in there....

Unfortunatly Ross is a secretive guy...he wont give you anything over the basic clues to get it to work....but any resourceful mechanically minded person should have very little trouble getting it together...

before you go off trying to find a box, make sure you can get the thing to fit! not sure what the space requirements are...and whether everything will clear.
Also the MR2 box is only 1 solution. a honda box off a H22A would be my choice simply because its also a solid/direct shifter not cable shifted..but would require more customization to get a fit...

I was probably around the 375 HP mark on race gas...

I would say so. I've eaten both an SRT-4 stage 2 with mods and an STi both from a roll with no probs...

I personally don't have any experience with the Purple, but I can speak well for the redline MT-90.

ok getting back to Mobil 1 full synthetic.....do you guys recommend 10W-30 over 5W-30? because I just dropped turbo kit in my car past Friday and didn't think anything of it and put 5W-30 mobil 1 as I usually do.....

I mean, oil changes will be at every 3k miles now anyways, but just to verify, should I switch to 10W-30 instead of 5W-30?

Used Royal Purple 5W-30 oil for the p5. And this MSP has Mobil1 10W-30.

REdline MT90 all the way.

MT90 is great. Stay away from Shockproof unless your car is track only.

Mobil 1 5w-30 here.

Unless it's REAL cold (below -20*C) Mazda reccomends 10W-30.

I use 15W-40 in my car though...
