Turbo Mania!!!

Okay...it seems like every other thread I see is someone either selling a kit, going to sell a kit or is running a turbo setup. It's amazing to think we went from one super cool guy (Spoolinmp3) who became the first to turbo the MP3 and now we have multiple turbo mp3's, p5's and well used to have a turbo protg. Did I miss anyone?

Hmmm...maybe we can get a list going...because I'm losing track. I can't complain though...it's TURBO MANIA!!!

We should have a showdown magazine style with dyno and 1/4 mile runs (assuming conditions can be somewhat controlled) and provide everyone with the same brand of slicks. Also including system cost and contents.

That's a good idea about a showdown. We can see who gets the most hp on the dyno and who has the fastest 1/4mile time. I hope to get around 210whp at 10 to 12psi. Just on the dyno ofcourse. I'll be pushing 7 to 8 daily driving though.

Sorry to leave the brotherhood guys but you know I'm goign to be alot happier with my new setup i think. 10.7:1 compression shotpeened everything and then a 75 direct port nitrous system along with AWR headers. HKS intake. JDM cams, P&P and some other things cam gears that sort...all custom made or course by me so watch out you turbo guys this ex-turbo protege is still going to be a good contender.

Actually an I've already sold it sorry. Ambient on the boards bought it from me he will have it installed shortly he had to do some work to it for the intercooler and some other things that were different than he wanted but its getting there. As far as teh cams they are sitting on my desk waiting on my pistons to get here. Corksport sent me teh wrong pistons and now i'm waiting. I also need to get a new head gasket, new rings, and new rod bearings....so there is another 200 bucks into the car in seals!!!!! lol

I was thinking why don't you save yourself some time and money and install the cams yourself it can't be too hard...then take it to the shop just for the pistons...I'm also assuming you were going to take it to the shop for the whole deal, if you are doing it all yourself nevermind...

I think we should do what Syzrgy suggested where members can fill out a form asking questions like "are you turboed (y/n), which CAI do you have", etc. Wouldn't be hard to do. Just like a poll on steroids.
