Very good info, thanks Mark! A putty knife really worked for ya, huh? That sucker is tighter than a (insert corny virgin joke here)...lol I started getting it off using a screwdriver and hammer, tapping ever so gently and got about a 1/4 of it unsealed. I'll try the putty knife method from here on out, but I think I'm gonna need the extra umph of the hammer.bazooka joe said:great news justin!! hey, on the pan...i just used a putty knife and worke my way around the pan and it finally gave in and came off, no worries, you really can't hurt anything...plus you'll be scraping it down nice and clean with a dremel befor you reinstali it. oh, and use a good amount of sealant...i was to frugal and my pan leaked!
