Troublesome Taillights

Hi everyone, I just got black chrome altezzas for my '03 P5, but they're not fitting properly. I had them replaced, but same deal. It said "2002" on them, but the body is the same those two years. Have any of you got altezzas for your '03 P5 - if so, did you run into any problems?

what do you mean they are not fitting? take some pics. aftermarket parts especially older apc lights have usually have huge gaps between them and the body of the car. is this the problem?

and it doesn't matter what the lights say, you can see right away whether they are for that body style or not when you first look at them...

Me and my boys started a lil car crew its called NATO. Stand for "No Altezza Taillight Association" IMO i would hav wwent JDM or stayed factory.

But hey what ever tickles you fancy. Watch out for Water leaks and fog up issues. Not saying it will happen but it might rabbit it just might

The fit is just a little off - they are not snug.

NICE!! how do i get into NATO?? i can't stand altezzas.... too ghetto

like i said, that is to be expected out of aftermarket lights especially apc. there is nothing you can do about it. and replacing them was stupid, they are made out of the same mold so its not like the new set is going to fit better.

fit is one of the reasons why people hate them , they are just bad quality with bad design.

you might try to tighten up the bolts that hold em in the hatch area a little more to bring them closer to the body but they still will not fit perfectly. that is the fact of life.
so you can either drive like that, return them and get a pair of j/edm lights or put the stock ones back on (which btw, also have a slight gap).
