Transmission Question?

I dont know if this was posted before or not but I was wondering this? If our tranny's are our weakest link how about a tranny from another engine like the F2t would that bolt up or how the tranny on the older mx-6 fs. Dont know much about the trannys on vehicles but was just an idea. When I get time I will probally look at the bolts on the F2T.

You might want to ask NC_MP3 about his transmission. He replaced it with a hybrid and seems to be having little trouble. I forgot what it was because I can't seem to find the post where he talked about it.

I believe he was going to try to get his MP3 transmission fixed under warranty, and they wouldn't do it and wanted to charge him for a new tranny. So he got a used tranny of a slightly different make and put that on. Wasn't a bolt on, but close.
