transmission oil

I bought my msp used and don't know much about them. What oil do you recommend for this trannd and if some one could post pictures of locations of the drain and fill holes that would be great.

I use MT-90

The Drain is on the bottom, and the Filler is the large bolt on the front of the trans.. Fill it till it leaks out and cap it.

i have to agree with the redline mt-90. I am running royal purple right now, and even though it is pretty good fluid it leaves much to be desired. my next gear oil change im doing 3qts mt-90 and the ford friction modifier.

Yep 2.7 quarts but I used 3, I did 2 qts. mobil 1 75-90 gear oil and 1 qt. lucas oil stabilizer. 23mm socket or wrench is needed for the drain and fill bolts.

100% Mobil 1 75W90. The transaxle does not require additives of any type. Its simply end user choice to do so.
