transmission oil

this is a pain in the ass to change!!!

i put some redline oil on my tranny, and WOW, i dont grind 2nd anymore....
the oil does make a huge difference

just get one of those funnels with the big long spout deal on it and work it into the fill hole from under the hood. its not too bad... aww, its easy. DAMN 2ND gear!!! damn it to hell!

Here is the pics of the suction gun that makes filling the trans much easier....

This is a pic of the drain plug it is dead center in the lowest point of the trans.

I will have a pic of the suction gun in a few more min.....

******* awesome dude. thanks so much for what you've done. it'll help me greatly.

how do those suction guns go for? or is that something that you can or should just rent from the parts store?

They are like 10 bucks and it's a good thing to have around it has multiple uses.

can't rent them that i know of. autozone has them i know that for sure. and like speedcicle said, there roughly $10.

puttin in some redline soon...fo sho

yea autzone carries the magnetic plugs...however most of the idiot redshirts won't know where to find them, so ask one of the people with a gray shirt on...they're the parts mgrs and should know something...hopefully....there are 2 places to find them...either A. by the pcv valves out on the store shelves, or B. in the black cabinets behind the parts counter...usually just below the lug nuts...and they come with a new gasket so don't let them jip you by just giving you the drain plug...

i would bring in your old drain plug for reference on thread sizing unless anyone knows the exact size. i know the engines plug size is M12-1.50 in case anyone wants a magnetic plug for the drain.
