Does any Canadian owner know if it is possible for the dealers to set service interval notifications on "normal" instead of a default to "severe"? The current setting on mine is 8000km oil change interval on severe duty, and 16000km on normal. 8k is out of line with the weather in southern AB, and with my driving habits. I want to confront the dealer to set on normal, and challenge any assertion it can't be changed. Thanks

U.S. 2016.5 CX-5, here. Can easily change the units between KM/Mi, and can easily set the number of miles for notification of the next servicing (tire rotation, oil/filter). I set it to a fixed number of miles from the last change.
Yours is a 2025 CX-50, yes? Looks like you can go into the Vehicle Status Monitor in the Connect settings, then change between "Automatic" and "Manual". If you set to "Manual", then you ought to be able to adjust the miles for the next servicing to whatever you want it to be.
