Transformers

well, I'd gladly point out the similarities but would spoil the movie for those who haven't seen it.

Yah, Michael Bay was aiming to release it by Indenpendence day since troops were used in the movie.

? I didn't see ANY nukes being used... not did people commandeer the "alien" craft and fly them around...

he's right, they did use some things from independence day

and bad boys 2.

the music, soundtrack, the spinning camera angle with Frenzy in Sector 7, the troops, the virus upload, megatron in sector 7 hidden from everybody else, john voigt playing the same presidential character as bill pullman in ID...list goes on

I loved it, It was the best movie i have ever seen. Even if you dont like transformers at all, go see it. You won't be let down.

Saw the movie today. Despite what the critics have written about the movie - too long and too much drama - I didn't think there were any boring scenes. It was definitely a dream come true for us who grew up watching the animation. God bless the advancement in special effects technology since they said this movie would have been impossible three years ago.

Much like the animation though, the plot was quite predictable. I mean... what were the people thinking freezing youknowwho that looked like a killing machine without even trying? BTW, Bumblebee was sweet! *^_^*

As the entire movie was a giant commercial for products, I really wonder how GPX (the worst piece of crap consumer electronics available) ended up in the movie. They likely spent ungodly amount of money and won the bid against the big names like Sony and Samsung. -_-;;

Actually it's more like the presidential character as Pearl Harbour.

The plot was great. Even the love line wasn't feeling forced at all. Smart use of the Bumble Bee in pure car form early on in the movie.
Anyone notice an old VW Beetle was right beside the Bumble Bee Camaro when it was first shown on the car dealer? Nice touch there consider that Bumble Bee was originally a Beetle.

The streets ran red with the blood of noobs. Movie shreds.

As for the teaser prior, thats JJ Abrams "untitled" project. It's basically a monster invasion movie. It's been under wraps for the last year or so now and the general talks are about a remake of Godzilla. I'd like to see it personally, they've been talking about it for a little while now. However, who knows, all that is known is that is about a monster invasion. The whole movie is shot handheld on DV by people who experienced the invasion in NYC.

First off this movie was ******* awsome. problem was monday night when I whent to see it somebody lit off one of those artillery shell fireworks inside the theater and it set the screen on fire forcing everyone to evacuate. they gave everybody free tickets for a show tuesday night but the film didn't start till an hour after the schedualed showtime because the projector broke.

I really dont have much desire to see this movie, not my genre. Plus critics here are slamming it bad. a few of my friends have liked it, but I still wont be seeing it. thought i would chime in :)

I was have said AWESOME about 2000000 times while watching the movie. My wife enjoyed it too. The first half is definatly cooler than the second half but overall well worth the $5

Never ever, ever listen to critics when it comes to blockbusters. They are not meant to win oscars, they are meant to be entertaining. 9 times out of 10 they are. I don't think there was a dull moment. I was kinda suprised that the movie wasn't to pg'ish. But then again the original movie wasn't either. Jazz can't catch a break, didn't he die in the cartoon with ironhide?

$5? I need to move over there. Try $10.25 (or $11.25 if ordered online). I guess you quoted the matine price... even then it's like $7~8 here. >_<

I think I want to watch this movie the second time. *^_^*
