Anyone notice how there was wayyy too many product placement (besides GM)?

it was basically a 2 hr, 25 minute GM commercial. we even joked with each other, "hey did you notice the mustang was an evil decepticon?" but dont let that stop you from enjoying it, if you watch a movie going in with too many hangups youre really not getting the most out of your money.

WOW!!! Took my 6 year old son today to see it and he sat still for the entire 2 1/2 hours!!! I was scared that this would be another one of those hugely hyped 'let down' movies, but glad I was wrong. Special effects were awesome and storyline was done well IMO. Favorite was Barricade, bad ass in car and robot form.

This should sum it up....my son's response when leaving the theater - quote "That was the bestest movie I have ever seen!" end quote. Only critic that matters in my eyes.

He's a far better critic than most of those so called "movie experts". You should have him write reviews. I'd trust them more than theirs.

Felt the same way when I saw the original transformers movie when I was 6.

Yeah there were a lot of GM vehicles in it but it worked, I now want to go and buy the new Camaro really bad!! That thing is evil looking!!

I kind of liked the Mustang better, but the Camaro looked nice, too! It had some ridiculously huge rims (22" ? )

Yeah the camaro was the perfect car to showcase for GM. Very smart of them. If they make a sequel, maybe the new Trans Am will be out just in time for Roddimus (wasn't he a T/A?)

All I know is that I am using the seatbelt for safety line the next time I can.

Critics suck!They don't get how movies like Transformers or Live Free or Die Hard(another sweet movie BTW) are just basically pop corn movies.They are just meant to entertain.So what if it was too much drama or too long.The action more than makes up for it.

Anyway,the movie is awesome!Anyone else notice how they changed Optimus Prime from a regular flat nosed truck to a Big Mack truck...and added the flames.

...So ******* hott!
