Treat them right and they'll treat you right, even with more power. Boost up your motor and tear across some stutter bumps or something at full throttle and it might treat you wrong.

The Mazdaspeed Protege was limited power wise for a number of reasons, and the tranny was not one of them...

t3ase said:Guys, our cars were never made with boost in mind. Speed shifting and dumping the clutch will KILL your tranny, as it did mine. In my case, it was the differential. It had completely seperated due to too many clutch drops.
Funny this is that there was a STOCK msp in there when I went to go pick up mine with the EXACT same problem. TAKE CARE OF YOUR TRANSMISSION. I would have been out $1300 + labor had some circumstances not come up.
