Guys,

Let's suppose that you have a car that is valued $15000 and you want to trade it in for a car that is worth $8000, is that possible?

Does the dealer actually gives you a check?

The trade in for the MSP is between 10-13K. The resale is between 14 and 17K for the dealers. Just FYI.

Yes they will, but the check to you will be around $3,000. Don't expect a check for $7,000. never happen

As was stated before, it really depends on the dealer and the car. We buy cars from people sometimes at my dealership if we thing we can sell it for a profit. We did have a woman who traded in two cars for one car and came out ahead. You really just have to try to get in good with the used car sales manager.
