Track day at Texas World Speedway?

Hey so there's been some talk about some of us getting together at Texas World Speedway for a track day/meet sometime soon. like perhaps in the spring after some of us finish up a few needy mods. FunkyMonkey1 called them up and said that it would run $1200 for a full day and that would allow unlimited cars with 6 cars on the track at one given time. So if we had 12 people that would only run $100 per person. Obviously the more the better. What do you guys think? would you be up for it? (bluemp3)

I think it's a great idea. If we had 12 people, If we could get 24 we could get some kind of race set up. 6 cars 6 laps and the first 2 of each race move on. Had of course have it broke down FI and NA just to be fair.

I can get ahold of the Baylor Driving Club that I used to be in, I'm sure some of them would be down for it, and I am always down for a little racing.

I'd gladly participate. Will they have corner workers in the stations? TWS is a higher speed track so my main concern is safety.

OK, Ok, I got an idea... We will bring my brothers DOT/IIB data recording system and I should have a few items to test and I'll borow my friends highspeed camera and we can knock a few brids out with one stone... Somebody PM Miata Racer and make sure he sees this thread....
