it happened *twice* since i got the car..

one time in the morning, as i was heading for work..

TPMS light flashed and warning sound..about 4 secs then disappears..

one time, in the evening.. as i was driving hom..

same thing happened...

i guess, it just sensed "low" pressure one of the tires..

could it be related weather temperature flucuating.. recently. (cold morning.. warm afternoon, chill everning.. etc)

Yeah if your PSI's are already borderline-low, could very well be temp differences. Have you checked your pressure lately? ;)

I never seen the dang TPMS light come up and there been some extreme cold then warm days. It is one of those times when you start thinking: Are the tires really in between the right PSI levels or the thing is broken (rant)? One thing is true, it has made me lazier to check for PSI...

My wife's Solara has TPMS. We've gotten so many false positives with the system that I really don't put any trust in it. Granted, the Solara ≠ Mazda5. :)

Solara ≠ Mazda5. :)

Yeah, dunno, I'll need to see it once to believe it, one of these days I'll just let some PSI out at the gas station and see what happens :D, then I'll just inflate to the agreed PSI again...

Oh, and I love my cars, but Solara > Mazda5 (thought)

It's really nothing more than a sexy, 4-banger Camry... granted it has the SE Sport suspension package so it carves out twisties like a dream :)

we've had ours come on, only to go off a few miles down the road. Got home and checked the pressure after the tires cooled off and they were low. So far everytime the light has come on one of the tires have been low. The new tires we have seem to hold air better than the factory tires.
