TPMS mounting

I recently picked up a slightly-used factory alloy rim to replace a bent rim on a 2012 Mazda3. The "new" rim did not include the TPMS, but the TPMS from my existing rim is perfectly fine and not damaged. Is it easy to remove the TPMS from the old wheel? How would I mount it on the new wheel? I don't really know anything about this and don't normally do this kind of stuff. Any help would be appreciated.

You probably will take both the new and old rim to a tire shop for mounting. Have them switch the TPMS, they should install a "rebuild" kit (new "o" rings).
