Was looking through my glove box and cace across somthing I didn't notice before....a baggie with 4 - Torx wrenches size T25. Not sure what they are for (or I forgot)....anyone else get these or know what they are for?

Also, did anyone else, get like everthing that came with the car from the dealer...I got the window sticker (which they never put on the car), the "recommended stero settings" card, the installation procedures for the alarm system (includes wiring diagaram and all), the dealers instructions when installing the wheel locks, the removal keys for the stero (which are in a plastic bag with no directions...not that I need any), and these 4 torx wrenches (all the same size).

Just found it interesting.

Keep in mind, when I say wrenches, i mean like the allen(allyn) wrench style....just a "L" shaped piece of metal about 3" long with torx style ends.

OHH!
allen keys!
yeah, i found mine in the owner's manual package.
what are we suppose to do with them?
I think i could use one of them to tighten my sparco clutch pedal.

They're probably for the center caps on your RacingHart wheels.

That makes sense....I didn't think about that (wheels aren't even on my car right now...damn steelies)

Newf...not the wheel lock key...that actually goes over/around the end of the lug nut, I'm talking about an wrench with a torx bit on the end...looks just like an allen wrench (L-shaped piece of metal with a bit that would go into the head of a screw of some sort)

If you look at your RacingHart wheels, focus on the center-cap...you will notice that they are held in place by screws/bolts...these wrenches/keys would probably take those off (if you ever wanted to...why, I dont' know?)

that's probably what their for, the caps that is. I never got these with the MP3 though :(

No kenwood keys either???? wtf?

Ok, so they don't fit the center caps...and I just tried the pedals...don't fit there either (too big)...what could they be for?

Question is still open...anyone have the answer?

no idea man....i tried them out the day i got the car...thought it was for center caps...nope...oh maybe pedals...nada....maybe the kenwood.?? but how...dunno...

wtf are these things for!?! you got 4? i only have 2...

madness, i say.

Stereo

I had four of them in a clear plastic bag with some metal parts and instructions on how to remove the stereo.

A lot a tire shops have to remove the center caps for the rims to fit on their mounting/balancing equipment properly.

So, in these instruction on how to remove the stero, does it mention anything about removing bolts/screws with these torx wrenches. (I received no instructions on how to remove the radio)

Note: I had the metal tools to remove the stero in a clear plastic baggie that was staples shut...I had another clear plastic baggie with 4 of the torx wrenches that was at one time stapled shut, but no longer stapled.

I just scanned over them and it was mainly talking about the faceplate. I dont think the wrenches go with the instructions.
It looks like the metal parts, wrenches, and instructions were just kinda tossed in there together. The dealer didnt really know anything either. I just thought it was some left over stuff from the install of the radio.
So in short I havent really tried to use them

If you want to send one of the extras to me I'll gladly take it. I love free stuff.
When I was getting my new tires put on monday they needed a T25 to get the center caps off my MP3 Racing Harts. They had to go to AutoZone to get one. :) I waited patiently. Wish they came with the MP3s :(
