Torque Setting

Hopefully this weekend I'll be installing my Buddyclub Condenser, and I want to ground my transmission (Automatic). I was wondering if anyone knew the torque setting for a grounding point on it. I tried to search for a service manual, but haven't been able to locate one for an '06. I was thinking about getting a service manual for the mazda6i (IIRC the 06 3s has that transmission) but would hate to waste the little money I got for one lil piece of information.

I am not sure about the 06 but I just put in my BCC today and torqued it between and 6 and 8 ft/lbs. I got those specs on this site. Check the how to ground your throttle body thread.

Thanks,

This is as muc information as I got.

Throttlebody: 71-101 in-lbs (6-8.4 ft-lbs)
Fuel Rail: 177-230 in-lbs (14.75-19.1 ft-lbs)

I wonder if it would be safe to assume the 4 speed and 5 speed automatic torque settings are very close.

I would think the would be. As long as it is tight enough to not get loose and loose enough not to break or strip anything your good.
