The quality of this thread started directly with the originator stating that there is some stupid reason that his SUV must be able to go faster than 115 MPH. I gave you my opinion, it's the internet, what so hard to understand that I can post here as well. I don't really care if you like me or not so try not to loose any sleep over any of this.
It still boggles my mind how
completely ignorant and reckless that concept is, My SUV can do 110MPH, I NEED it to go faster.
Further, the fact that the rest of you think that I am the idiot simply compounds my belief that you are all idiots and deserve each other.
There is no reason to drive that fast. If you can't accept that it has a govenor, then you should have bought a much faster vehicle to begin with. (Try the Cayenne Turbo, It comes with Z Rated 20" wheels and was
designed to go STUPID FAST)
The gearing is not designed for it, sustained extreme speeds will create tensile loading on the major rotating assembly, Over Heat the Transmissin beyond it's design limits. Over rotate the CV joints much beyond their design limits, Propell a 3600 Lb vehicle beyond the brake systems capability to do an emergency stop.
Mazda built it and decided on a top speed for the govenor, It's idiots that cause normal people to have such greif when they take their vehicle in for work by breaking their vehicle by doing stupid s*** to it and then bitching that they want Mazda to fix it.
Grow Up.
