Wasnt the gas, and never WAS the gas. I had the dealer purge my tank and go drive it to their shell station and put in VPower, not only was my car worse but the mechanic finalllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy came to the conclusion that it wasnt the gas, like i had been saying all along.
Problem is the fuel pump.
The catch with the purge and the fill is that Mazda, before even remotely accepting fault with the fuel pump, engine, injectors etc etc. right off the bat claims bad gas. I took that as an insult and insuation from my dealer trying to say i was el cheapo with my gas. My car has 5k miles on it and has now been in the shop on 5 seperate occasions, always to their dealer, i always pay them, and i am loyal. So if they wana say bad gas they can go screw.
So, back to my story - IF I HAD picked the car up the 2nd time my tech told me it was ok, It would have been my fault again, and be blamed on bad gas, and this stupid charade would have continued. I actually dont care that they have had my car for so long, as long as its fixed when i pick it up. But i was not going to go along with this game of Hey ur cars ok! come pick it up! then 1 minute out of hte parking lot have it die on a highway and flatbed it back. I did that twice in 1 day, im all set for life now.
this thing better be fixed is all im saying. I know what gas can do if ur engine is rated for premium and u put in regular, but please gas is gas and doesnt cause unbelievable problems like computers turning the car off, bucking, misfiring, and basically an undriveable car. Maybe if u put water in the tank (which is what has happened cuz of the bad fuel pump) but not a 93 grade gas.
This wasnt a "dumping boost" this was an automatic SHUT DOWN it was like riding a buckin bull or something it was crazy what was goin on in my car
(o quick tip - if you want to clean the carbon out of the engine, put the car in park, keep the tach steady at 4rpm's and when the tach drops back down, the car has cycled whatever carbon it can out of the engine - tech tip from mazda)
