The word is spelled DUAL. D-U-A-L. There is no such thing as a 'daul'!

.. I believe THAT is the point he was tryin' to get across.

I dont think that kid is on the forum.

...this thread is really funny to read...

Philly - get snows - this car is a RIOT on snow tires, you'll be passing SUVs left and right. BTW, they really like it when you do that, really makes them appreciate their four-wheel-drive and baldy, poorly-designed-for-snow all-season tires. Guess what - my car has BRAKES on the same number of wheels as theirs. I even STEER with the same number of wheels as they do!

i agree, My mp3 with snow tires was better last year than my moms A6 with spA2 dunlops on it.. Her car had a little better traction to start up, but once moving i swear my car felt safer.

oh yeah man, so jealous, jealous of the fact that I am 8 years younger than you and I can actualy spell, jealous of the $600 worth of garbage you have on your car, woo hoo I invested more in the radio of my ******* geo I used to own.

should have taken a few college courses insted of buying that MSP, its obvious you are very proud of what you have, and there is no problems with that, but **** learn how to spell and not type in all caps, your sig takes up half the damn page

Mp3 or MSP + Snowtires + Snow = Snowmobile

MP3 or MSP + Stock Wheels and Tires + Snow = heavily greased pig

I drove from Philly to NYC this weekend and like Ping said, passed many an SUV, who then felt the need to speed up, but then lost control and slowed down :) oh, the feeling of seeing their faces as I zip by, SAFE and quick, and in complete control. 2-5 inches on I=95, not a plow in sight (NJDOT is pretty lame) doing 40+ is an unbelieveably strange feeling...it just feels so wrong, but when you realize how much control you have, it feels great.

any car with snows drive the same...u guys make it like we have special cars ready for snow tires lol haha i had sumimoto all season tires on my 240sx last winter and i had to drive thru the snow every time it snowed here in baltimore, i used to work for a landscaping company that required me to shovel and plow....anyway i used to fly on the highways passin suvs and s*** and the car just had so much control.....

hey **** off dick, bensalem isnt bad at all, i grew up here and its probably better than the any ****hole town you grew up in... and philly i hear ya man, the snow sucks, it took me two hours to get up the hill on my street saturday and i was late for work. And the this mornin i got stuck again on like an inch of snow that was already plowed it took me like a half hour to get out... im gettin new tires this week and retiring the potenzas for the winter
hayula:
guys guys... bensalem is just north of philly and they got shitloads of snow. cut the guy some slack he's pissed he's stuck in bensalem, pa. one of the crappiest towns i've set foot in.

Yea, wasnt all that bad... That sucks it is sitting out side with the hood open.. I thought it was yours at first, then i saw yours a minute later, it was wierd 2 msp in 2 minutes.

i can vouch for the crap of the potenzas in snow...
i put off purchasing snow tires because i didn't have the money and hit a curb....
now i have to pay for my deductable and snow tires...

our cars aren't bad in the snow with a good set of winters on. But, a snowmobile they aren't. they are really no different then any other econo FWD sedan imho. The lsd really doesn't make that much of a difference, and the height of the car can become a problem at times. I have to shovel my driveway if there's more then a snowball in front of it because i'm worried I'll hit the front lip on something. They really do handle quite well though even in snow with steelies on I am always amazed at how well they turn.

The ABS isn't that bad either. Some cars are way to sensitive ( try a sunfire/cavy ), but this car the abs is controllable.

OK, I didn't say our cars were any better than any other FWD cars with snow tires...just comparitively to the car with the summer rims and tires, its a night and day difference. I had a 240sx as my last car as well, with snow tires and it was definitely not as good as a FWD car. Fun yes, but efficient and easy no.

Sheesh (shrug)
