Could someone please tell me or show me a picture of the correct timing marks line up on the cam gears I've seen everything from the I and E. Being horizontal to the I And E being at twelve o clock I did mine to line up horizontal and its misfiring and it wasn't before the belt and all was done thanks in advance

Doug

The cams might be in the right position, but is the crank? In other words, there are 3 pulleys that need to be in the right position, otherwise it won't run right.

The crank is on tdc the mark on the back of the gear is lined up with the block and I have also made sure it's on tdc by using a gauge

Ok update new coils wires plugs the timing is dead on and just took off the egr valve and it was clean very little build up but I cleaned it off since I had it off any ideas or am I going to put a for sale sign on it

On the timing belt change no I did not remove the crank sensor but I just replaced it with a new on and no change again timing is on i also disconnected the battery and still jumping around when warm checked for leaks found none so the only things left on the list of po300 is the tps sensor but now it's snowing so she's going to have to sit for the next few days

Lol yeah I forgot it's been a rough day lol it was the egr valve failed on the car which was weird and un expected due to the fact I took it off and cleaned it but it failed in the open position causing all that Crazyness I wish I had a way cooler story to tell but sad fully I do not but it works great and puuurrssss like a kitten so that's for all those that gave advice along the way! I'll give update of condition in a few days

Lol I just went with a good ol oem from Mazda cause the Canada ones around here are closer to the 400 dollar mark and I wanted it fixed its a little cold in Maryland to ride my motorcycle right now so I payed 150 for the USA model egr

Yes they went way up in price. They used to be cheaper than the original design...
