ticking noise....

i've noticed on my car that when its idling and i'm out of it, i can hear a slight valvetrain tick (i think)... i change the oil and filter every 4k miles with royal purple 5w30 and a napa gold filter. i noticed it right after i got the car, and looked up TSBs for it, and it might be the pin for the variable valve timing, but my car is too new for that TSB (manf'd in May 06 #7757)...

is this a normal noise? i notice no oil consumption and it still drives the same...

Car: 06 MS6 Sport 31k miles, AEM cai, SU TP, TurboXS hybrid BOV, magnaflow catback, TWM stg 2 ss & bushings

I've noticed that also. It's louder when the engine cover is off. From doing searches on here and other sites it seems to be the norm.

yea the injectors on the speeds are very loud that might be wat ur hearing
