give me some feeback and reviews on these, i'm in great desire of my header, let me know what you guys thinik, the thunder header,or tsudo?

id like the awr, but 500 buxx is a lil out of my price range right now. I cant get a hold of a reactive.

i saw that on ebay too...i was in possesion of a tsudo exhaust at one point...buddy had it on his civic and stored it at my house for like a month....seemed to be nice work. clean welds and solid construction..im thinkin of givin the header a try...idk yet though. wish i could find an awr for a decent price

yeah i'd like the awr also, but need it for a good deal, until then, im in persuit of one of these headers

What is the best header on the market? Performance proven wise. I was part of the OBX group buy that went south and have put getting a header on hold for now. The best price for an AWR that i have found is 529.00. Do they need to be jet-coated? Thanks for any helpful input

Thunder is a very well made header , Nice piece of work . Tsudo is the same quality as OBX but seems to fit better . Ractive is pure s*** , AWR and Vibrant are around 500$ and its way to much

Im in on the Thunder GB. Im sure it is a good header, OBX and Ractive Ive heard nothing but complaints about. DC SPorts is coming out with a header for the Proteges, it is in prototype stage right now but is for off road use only. Should be the best one out when they do release it.

I like that header too, but I just want to know what im paying over 100 more for before I commit to buy it, it does look nice, and I like the fact that the thunder is 2 peice.

yea they are all off road but Im just sayin so is the DC ,prolly be a while before they release it though, but I bet it will be a very well built header.

I Ordered the Tsudo and it should be here next week, Ill let you know how she is, but Ive heard Nothing but good stuff about her.

OBX & Tsudo should perform the same as they are both 4-1 with the exact same Design (Tsudo doesnt need to be drilled at all)

Now the AWR is a 4-2-1 Set (And over priced for sure for some Madrel bent pipes welded together :bs: ) And Second it being a 4-2-1 set I wouldnt expect it to have Better performance then the 4-1 set ups availible. Most probably The AWR would be better at Low RPM's but the 4-1 OBX & Tsudo, would be better Mid to high, and yeild larger peek gains over all. (Just an educated geuss)

The Tsudo works fine. I have had it on my car for about 2-3 weeks now and I love it. It has all the same welds as the OBX header and I haven't had any problems. Save your money, go with the Tsudo

Where did you order yours from?

I grabbed it from Ebay, The Vendor was "Trendgear"

I Also grabbed some RR_Racing Motor Mounts, and Ive been dealing with Rafi who is giving great Customer Service.

Im Eager like a MOFO to get them Put in. Both should be in some time next week.

I got mine off ebay from TrendGear as well. Make sure you use the gasket they provide. The how to says to leave the stock gasket but I had a leak so I had to pop it off again to put the new gasket on. Another word of advice, save yourself some heartache. Connect the EGR fitting first, then twist the header into place. Otherwise you'll sit there for an hour with the wrench trying to get the angle right.

EDIT: Where did you get the motor mounts and how much did you pay? I need some REALLY bad.

i haven't tried other headers so i may be biased coz i have the Thunder header myself... one thing's for sure though, it is well made... and it is a two-piece header for easy installation and will support flex oh and ummm best feature about it though is that it has a built in MIL/CEL eliminator (thumb). what i noticed is quicker revs and better throtlle response in which i assume that all the headers will do.

Ive never done a header install or motor mount install, & I got No tools, so Im getting it done at a Garage at the same time. I figure with no headers the mounts must be easier to get at, but what do I know.

I grabbed the mounts from RR-Racing.com I just made the order and Rafi contacted me to confirm the order and give me the shipping details (AND THEY ARRIVED!! Whoo hoo!!! Now the headers need to get here. (ughdance)

RR-Racing Mounts 55$ American Shipped, & 65$ Canadian Shipped (Im in Canada (ughdance) :) )

Ill be SURE to make em use thhe gasket, and Ill give them the heads up about the EGR, Thanks!
