The GB I have tried to arrange with KYMP5 is finally going to go through, he had 20 ractive headers shipped out to him yesterday and should be @ his shop in 4 or 5 days. They will be 200 shipped within the continental US, here is the thread he started to see who was still interested....

http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=81209

it is a 4-1 header similar to the OBX piece except the collector is after the 2nd bend in the pipes at the bottom of the header instead of in the middle of the downward section

finally going through eh?

too bad im inpatient and got the wagner already...

yea, its finally going through.... but they are on the way, i may have to take pictures of them showing up just to post for all those who have been waiting forever (for that i apologize) and then we will start shipping them out as soon as we start collecting the money

Yo, bro. Plz post pix of Ractive. Any dyno #s? Do they fit w/o mods? Any other questions I forgot, but you may think of. Great interest in purchase...

ive been told no mods to make the header go on and function, may need the MIL to keep the light off though. Ill know more once i get them in stock and put one on my car

What? What kind of 18s are they? You don't mean 18lbs per corner do you? How much do the RHs weigh?

probably 18 total, the 18's i was lookin at were only like 16-18lbs which isnt oo bad, ill keep my stock 16's for any hard road thrashing

as for the header it should bolt right up and you will need a MIL fix or have the 2nd o2 bung welded in behind the 2nd cat so it can be placed there to function normally.

Okay..speaking from having the ractive header...you just need a MIL fix or have a bung welded AFTER the 2nd cat converter underneath our car. Gains are good. The only thing you might wanna worry about is the header sits very close to the oil pan and it can rattle against it. Mine doesn't anymore..fixed that by just moving the header around.

Too bad I can't get these at prices KYMP5 is offering them at since I set up a group buy a while ago. I sold 6 ractive headers. LOL.

The headers are here!!!!!!!!!!!!!! call me at 866-444-7711 and ask for justin
Thx, Justin, for getting the first one out to Colorado! As soon as it arrives via Unmatched Package Smashers, I'll pull off the ES shorty and and hang it.

I'll post DynoJet #s before and after so you guys have a benchmark. My '5 is running an Injen CIA, Magnaflow CB, Overbored TB (60mm), Denso IK-16 Iridiums.

I'll be pulling another dyno check before header install to see if there's any real increase w/TB. Butt dyno and clock says "yes," but the only numbers that mean anything are on the dyno.

And the beat goes on. (thumb)

i cant wait to see the #'s. With a little luck ill have numbers of my own in the next week or so

we should have a dyno chart posted by gino in the next week or two. im gonna try to get the results but i dont know when ill have time to install the header and then when ill have time to dyno it. Everyone thats bought it has said they experienced a noticeable gain with the standard butt dyno

for definate terms wait for ginos dyno, but basically without any other exhaust work and so forth maybe 5-8hp increase, with a full exhaust system already in place it could be as high as 10-12.....

AWR's made around 11 or 12 whp gain and it is only slightly better designed IMO. the collection areas for the pipes are where the big differences are with the AWR piece.
