Thinking of turbocharging your P5? Here's a guide for getting started...

I have this fitting for the water feed block side but it will not screw in all the way:

water feed (block side) assembly:
0000-88-C77

Any help???

Good luck man...if you need any more parts or upgrades to what you have...Manifold...let me know...just started parting my kit...

I cant find a M12x1.50 hose barb for 3/8 hose anywhere! I need this for the water feed on the block. Does anyone know what I can do, or any other sollutions?

on the block? i did the throttle body bypass, and i drilled and tapped the barb out with a 1/4npt tap and used a 1/4npt to -6AN fitting, then a -6AN pushloc fitting to a 3/8 hose
little over the top but i wanted to be able to use a SS line for coolant when i go T3/T4

Just got done with the build last night... Boost sweet boost!!... Still have to remap my megasquirt and have my 3" exhaust welded... but it looks like all systems go for now... Anything I should be checking to make sure apart from fluid leaks and stuff??.. .

With the megasquirt, are you going with a tandem setup, keeping the stocker to run the alternator, gauges and what not? Or have you gone full onto the MS?

Being in AZ blackdragon, just do throttle body bypass. Its pretty ez, Simon just made his more complicated. lol

I took these pics just for people like you. Basically, the nipples for both of my coolant are already there, they just have tiny hoses that go to the throttle. Loop the longer one on the throttle then hook up your two coolant lines to your now free nipples.

Doing the tandem setup, there is a thread on the engine management forum where I have detailed instructions on how to do it.... Here:

http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?123780542-Megasquirt-2-EMS-Guide-for-FS-DE-98

The circuit build and hookup instructions are in the PDF on the first page...
I don't need the issues of going full MS when the stock ECU does a fine job of it... I have timing and fuel control, and thats all anybody needs to tune!... :P

Yep, I'm familiar with the setup, I was just curious which path you'd gone with.

You forgot boost ;)

Thanks Dub! Thats way better than any info i've found for it yet. The original post really sucks, and some of his part #'s are backwards, making it even more confusing.

I know I need to get an EBC, but im just super exited to run a boosted car right now!... It feels and sounds so good... lol... Although I know its not that fast... are you running an MS too?.. .

You have a megasquirt... why do you need a separate EBC? 0.o

And I'm about to be, on the race-car. Should be running on the MS by this weekend.

I don't mean a seperate EBC, Just the actuator... (ohsnap!) ..Sorry.. Do you have base maps to start tuning? ... I want to check what I am running right now with a couple of others just to be safe,..
