While not limited to P5s, but potentially noteworthy to some here, there was an article in the local paper last week about a new trend in car theivery. First it was stereos, destroying the dash getting it out. Then they went after your air bags, destroying your steering wheel getting it out. Now they are after the Xenon headlight systems, and they tear the front bumper facia off of the cars to get at the parts. The insurance companies are starting to get shelled on claims. Typical claim is in the $3K+ arena. Anyone got a "Club" for the front bumper? Jim

I thought that I had heard everything back when kids were getting jacked for the Jordans(shoes) but ripping off the bumper of a car just for the headlights. these people are just getting ass-a-nine(sorry couldn't remember how to spell it) I do know a guy that had his carbon fiber wing ripped off. They just yanked the thing right off of his trunk. Actually ripped the metal and all. Damn theiving bastards.

I think the epidemic (and I heard abou tthis recently too) is with stealing HID systems out of cars, not bluish 25$ xenon bulbs

The article called them "Xenon Systems" and I do believe it was refering to the HID systems, not the aftermarket bulbs. Jim
