do you want a president that can't decide on something for himself and has to continually change his views just to get on the brighter side of certain groups?
did any of you actually watch the debates? when kerry was asked if he said that Bush was lieing about the war... he wouldn't give a straight answer... he just said... "well, i never put it that way" (meanwhile the papers have quotes of him bitching and complaining that bush is a liar)
kerry walked into this thing with general answers to every question... nothing straight forward... (probably because he was afraid of getting on certain people's bad sides) bush came out with it and said this is what i believe in ... some people don't agree... but this is what i believe. and to me... that makes a much stronger leader then someone saying... well today i believe this... yesterday i believed that... and tomorow i'll believe something else...
better to have a president that can stand on his own two feet and make his own descisions then one that decides based on what the different ethnic / cultural / political groups belive.
one last note.
kerry said in the debate... "when i am president i will make sure my forces have the armor they need..." then he made a comment about the families of the troops buying armor and sending it... and how they shouldn't have to do that.
well, if kerry hadn't voted against the bill that bush was trying to pass to get money that would send armor and weapons to our troops... then maybe the families of our troops wouldn't have to do that... (just another incident of the flip / flop)
oh well... how bout them GIANTS!!!! 1pm today vs. GREEN BAY!!!!
anyone making some bets??? i've got a boost controller on the GIANTS....

OK...hang on a second....I just re-read my last quote and it sounded totally harsh. I apologize. Didn't mean for it to come off as such a dick. Accuser was being pretty mellow with his opinion and not extreme at all.
The point I was trying to make is, don't just believe and repeat everything your candidate believes in. What the Bush won't tell you is that in voting against Bush's 87 billion dollar money appropriation, Kerry (and several other democrats) proposed their OWN budget which included provisions for body armor, etc. But buried in the republican bill was several lines of pork-barrel politics from the republicans that the democrat senators didn't want to vote for. So they proposed their own bill (which I'm sure contained exceptions the republicans wouldn't like either). But then all Bush comes out and says is, "Oh yeah? You voted against this bill you flip-flopper! So there!"....and everyone whose listening passively just says, "Yeah! You voted against that bill! Pinko liberal bastard!"
Point being....just do some research a little before making your decision.

oh yeah baby... giants won 14-7 ... tiki barber was the man today...
well... i'm not really trying to make anyone take my side or not... i'm just saying that personally i believe that bush is a much better leader for this country then kerry (at this point in time)... not even so much about the flip flopping... but more so about the fact that if he says something he won't back himself up if he notices it is offending some other group... he wont' put his foot down... i personally feel that we need a president that will put his foot down... i'm not saying bill clinton was a bad guy... but when he was elected... what did he do in iraq? he put his tail between his legs and hushed off like nothing happened... we could have taken care of the insident then... i think things today would definately be a bit different had we done things right the first time. i'm not flaming democrats but in my own opinion... they haven't done much besides run away and pretend everything is fine and dandy... we have had some extremely good democrat presidents... you know whats funny... a city like NY as liberal as it is... has a republican mayor... just shows that even democrats are republican at heart... what would of clinton taken care of in Iraq when he was president, Bush sticks by his decison but look what his decison has done, innocent people dying, getting beheaded for what, for supposed WMDs that are not there, Saddam had no link to al quiada or bin laden, and if u notice how all the focus went from bin laden to saddam. theres other countries that are tying to build wmd like n.korea but wheres the invasion? instead of trying to overthrow a dictator that hates his daddy he should of spent the 120 billion in the U.S. on schools and jobs

(don't take my comment offensively, i just feel that you have an opinion... and it should count.)
you are free to not vote... but i think you should take some time... listen to both parties and vote...
