It is coming to the Kennedy Center and I and some friends were looking to go either July 25 and August 22, both Sunday matinees. However, if we can get at least 20 people to go, we can get a group discount. Currently we have either 8 or 9 going so far. Let me know if you're interested since we are thinking about buying tix in the next 2 weeks, the tix go on sale Mon. morning, Mar. 8 and we don't want to miss being able to get either date, esp. w/ a large group.

Also the website says tickets range from $35-90... any idea what we'd be paying?

The box office for groups opens tomorrow at 10am, I'll be able to get a price for you after I talk to them.

OK, I spoke w/ the group sales office yesterday. Apparently the Kennedy Center thinks that ticket sales are going so well that they won't give a group discount except to seniors and students. Also, they have decided to offer all seats at $85 for the matinees that we were looking at. Now, if you have a valid student ID, you can get 1/2 price tix, so that is $42.50. I still have my old college ID, so I am going to go. Anyone else have a school ID lying around?

OK, is it safe to assume that of those who are interested, nobody has a preference as to the date? I'm going to call next week to find out how many student tix are still available for these matinees. Nate and Jay, are you still interested? Ashutoshsm, are you interested?

OK, I have more bad news unfortunately. Please don't hurt me. (chair)

The student tix for the entire run of "The Producers" are sold out. Yes, sold out and the tix went on sale last Mon. So, the options now are go on Sun, Au. 22 for $85/person or if we want to do a Sat. matinee instead, that would be $80, either July 24 or Aug. 21.

Protejay, you said you were interested even if you had to pay full price. How about everyone else? Shall I start a list? Also the way these tix are selling, I'd really like to be able to buy ours by the end of this week, beginning of next week.
