The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

I meant a real head. The spare for the Honda. Get your head out of the gutter! Unless mine is there too, of course.

so Tesla released their patents, more electric cars in the future?

I've only researched LS swaps but those can be 100% bolt-in affairs for just about every GM model. It is for all Camaros, Chevelles, Novas, Vettes & trucks anyway. Even when sticking with an old iron block it's still cheaper/easier to go with a crate engine vs. building a block for most.

The KL/Protege swap uses all the same mounting points on the chassis for the motor and trans mounts, it's the wiring that is a b**** on the KL swap.

Miata is mainly bolt-in with the kit, as well. But like you said, wiring is a little work.

Waaaay off topic: $750 for a carbon fiber sax neck? Sheesh... It's just a CF bent tube.

SO what weekend plans does everyone have? You know, because it's FRIDAY FRIDAY, fun fun fun!

Friend's food truck launch party tonight in Dayton (and missing the Friday Knight Ice Cream meet I planned, lulz.) , Watching some Le Mans, finish building a sandbox and some laundry mixed in there.

Guitar, guitar, and more guitar. Looking forward to Sunday. I've been playing so much guitar that I think I'm gonna need to change strings before the wedding on the 21st. I'm playing my black Takamine acoustic for most of it, but the last song is gonna be more fun, and I'm gonna bust out an electric. Not sure which one I'm gonna use tho. Gotta figure that out.

Tomorrow I need to do a wheel bearing, mow the lawn, then we have a wedding to go to.
Sunday, finish the lawn, pull my wiper switch and install the new relay (actually pull it from the board of the switch) and perhaps get some rest? (HAHA)

We can include going off on my kin-folk in Kentucky to my list. Some people just can't take no for an answer.

Work, wedding and working on a project for NEO SCCA that will also help me at work. Will share details later and ask for some feedback.
