Yeah I was pretty uncomfortable with the car yesterday.

Not to mention brand new tires. I'm sure it was still seeping out some release agent or something.

I just watched the video from your last run and you would've definitely beaten me if you hadn't went around the one cone before the slalom. You were way faster on the back part of the course where those "eyebrow" things were.

I love running on toledo's surface but I did not like the course. My second gear isn't long enough for how the course was set up but I would have gone was too fast if I was in third. That course was set up for very high speeds though. Looks like I need the Euro diesel tranny

That course worked well for the Fiat, until it came to going to the far back corner by corner 3. I was approaching limiter before the right hander. Definitely a big power / higher speed track. Neither of which I posess. Lol.

I guess a follow up to what was planned over the weekend? Who got their list accomplished? I didn't do anything on the FC like I was planning.

I didn't do laundry but did get the sand box built. Just need to add more sand. Also sorta watched the 24, you know between the 13 hours of commercials. Fox Sports sucks.

Yes it was a long, relatively fast course.

Yep, the Toledo Airport has a huge concrete pad. The course is fast and pretty long.

That's awesome. Wish it wasn't so far away though.

idk what I could have done other than to have kept the speed down to stay in second gear. bouncing the car off the rev limiter like that is just asking to break something

What would break? I thought the whole purpose of the rev limiter was to prevent damage...

I would just lift a little so you're near redline but not hitting the limiter.

I had that issue with the MSM, until I went to third. It was a challenge to keep the speed up, but the power was easier to modulate. In the end, I was faster moving to third.

that would be fun, but won't be able to be competitive unless I get a co-drive or take parts off, but that won't be fun

A number of the imports were hitting the limiter as well as some of the big boys.......you should check out the Pro Solo coming up @ Toledo.........a lot of the National Champions are at these events.......
