The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

yeah both xbox and ps4 are pretty damn impressive but for all the more i play video games i wont be wasting my money on one hahaha

Who payed attention to the PS4 press release last night? It's sure impressive, but not enough for me to get one.

I'm more of a PC gamer so I wasn't paying attention. I was more focused on the Battlefield 4 Multiplayer reveal. That game is going to be sweet!

If the XBox One is backwards compatible, which I've heard it isn't, I may consider picking one up in a few years. I'm not a big gamer but I like to keep up with the Forza, Elder Scrolls, and some other series. I just don't like how consoles are becoming all-in-one devices. Far too often when companies try to merge products the end product fails.

I have a question for those that used plasti-dip.

Has anyone used the Plasti-dip primer? Its supposed to make it a more permanent coating.
How durable is the coating?
Does the coating actually seal form water, and prevent rusting?

The reason I ask, I was thinking of starting some rust control on the 7, and since the stock white paint from Mazda is junk and flaking off, I was going to hit a body panel at a time with a wire wheel, then use a sealing primer to prime the bare metal, then was thinking of just using plasti-dip in white. That way its easy to repair, hopefully durable, and cheap. I'm not looking for high grade show car look, just cleaning up a bit.

Haha

I don't really want to plasti-dip, or paint, but I'm not willing to let rust take over the car.

Yes, yes it is. Be prepared to see it anytime anyone mentions pasti-dip.

Any news on the master cylinder?
It held it's pressure over the weekend. I did another quick bleed last night and put it on the car with the ports plugged and it definitely feels better. Still more pedal travel than I'd like but I don't know if I can get it any better. The biggest thing right now is setting the booster pushrod-to-MC pushrod clearance. There's an SST from Mazda that does this but obviously I don't have one. I think I can make a similar tool though. I just need to find a vacuum pump to bring the booster to 19.7 in. Hg.

Thomas, check out Dipyourcar.com and their forum. Lot's of good info in there. As well as their YouTube channel.

Thanks, I'll check that out. I'm still up in the air on exactly what I am going to do, but something needs done. After that discussion on you fixing your rust and dipping your car, it got me thinking.

Figures the one time i dont park my car in the garage overnight, my neighbor slams their door into mine and took some paint off my driver side door handle.
