The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

I think it's something like 5 or 6 vehicles per year if you don't have a license.

Okay, thanks. I've been wondering since the guy I bought the Miata from said it was his last transfer for the year. Apparently with utility trailers under 4k lbs, they aren't titled, they're just registered, and since you can make them yourself, the process is way easier. You just get it weighted, and then put a little description of it and you can get it registered from what I've heard.

well, woke up to my alarm going off, went out side and some stuck a screw driver in between the handle and the door to unlock it. My trunk was open too. As far as I can tell nothing was taken but I'll check again in the morning when I have more light. I think they were after subwoofers but I don't have any. This is what happens when you live next to some ghetto apartments.

that sucks man, I was pissed when that happened to me (not with the 3). They took the head unit but didn't have time to take the sub and amp, I was sooooooooo pissed.

I had some time to think over the weekend and after having decided to eventually go into TT I know face another dilema:

I could buy a miata just for the track and keep the 3, but in the long run that would mean I'd end up with 2 cars, a small trailer, and 5 sets of tires... that's alot of stuff to have where I live. I'd like to move to a nicer place or maybe have a place of my own BUT that would reduce the funds available to dump on the cars. Third options is not to move and limit the car funds so I can get rid of my ******* debt, which would be the best thing to do...

DD + TT doesn't seem to fun IMO. It will always be a compromise and it'll be putting a lot of pressure on your DD. If something bad happens it could make live real sucky real fast.

Getting rid of debt seems like the best idea. I've been trying to do that myself for about a year now. It seems like life would be must easier without any debt.

the miata might take a while, will have a better idea late next month. Getting rid of the debt sounds very good since that would free up considerable funds, but once I reach TT that definitively won't be a DD car (it'll be a while though)

I always pick the debt option first. It feels like a weight is lifted off your shoulders when you get rid of it.

Amber has the camera so no pics, I guess they got her car too but just rummaged through hers and didn't take anything but the change.

Damn dude, that blows. Luckily they didn't take anything. You are not having the best of luck with your car these days, are you? :(

Kill your debt first! you can take your time and run in HPDE 3/4for a year.

No I'm not, I couldn't sleep last night and really thought about trading it in but odds are I won't get much of anything for it Even if I do put it back to stock and sell parts I still don't think it would be worth it in the long run. Plus I don't want a car payment.

I think about that too, but I figure your car keeps getting trashed and I'll keep wrecking mine. Don't want to change the status quo. (lol2)

lol, yeah maybe it's just that we're doomed and it's not the car's fault, or that we're in Columbus
