The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Is that all from the wreck? I remember my dad had a herniation of one of the disks in his lower back, and it was a really rough time for him.

Alright, thanks. I'll try that since I might as well start with what I know.

Dr. said they could have been bulging prior but the wreck is what caused the aggravation/pain.

Okay cool. I can get the filter for about 50 bucks.. so is the piping and mounting hardware really worth the extra 220?

Of course it looks purdy. :) Had I not scored a good deal on my AEM, I was going to buy the filter and an intake off of ebay for a fraction of the cost.

yeah the piping doesnt really make that much of a difference.... you could buy the piping from an ebay intake just make sure to put a good filter on it and youll be fine

Good afternoon...Wes, I'm going to go with Chris' thinking about pushing them in further.

Saw the pain mgmt specialist yesterday and next week I start my ESIs (epidural steroid injections). My C4 and C5 discs are bulging which is causing my pain/discomfort/etc

the doc that i work for has a herniated disc and he was in so much pain he could barely walk! he got some sort of epidural injection and it was like the miracle cure!! and he's only needed the one injection so far, that was maybe a month ago? good luck with all of it, it's no fun being in back pain ...

Damn, I'm not that bad..yet. This has to be similiar and the doc told me that it should fix the problem and I shouldn't have pain for the rest of my life...key word, shouldn't. They have me lined up for three injections two weeks apart and told me the first one will remedy about 50% of my pain. Before each injection he told me to pop two valium to 'settle the nerves'. lol

Thanks and you are right, back/neck pain is no fun at all!

^lol, my daughter was sisting next to me when I was watching that. She was really confused.

Time to do my homework now. Sucks balls!

What's up folks?

Helped my friend from work fix his wife's car yesterday. Lower control arm bushings on an 05 Neon are a mixed job. Everything came apart and went back together raather easily. Burnt the bushings out.... Just needed a press to put the new ones in. D'oh.

^ and you didnt follow Timko standards and make it work with the BFH?? :P

picked up the spring compressor today so Koni's will DEF. be getting installed tomorrow.... :D

Oh we used the BFH... and spring compressors, and a C-clamp, and my gear puller, and...

Yeah... it just wasn't budging. The machine shop down the street couldn't even do it because they didn't have the right tool. Travis bought an OEM style bushing and used that instead.

Finally figured out that noise that my car was making. I had accidentally bent the brake dust shield, and it was dragging on the rotor. I wonder how long it would have taken to wear it down enough that the sound would go away, lol.

lol. easy fix though

Lol yup! I doubt they'll be with me much longer, the rust is getting to them pretty bad... I'd love to live somewhere like AZ or NM where rust wouldn't be an issue. Wishful thinking
