I'm just going to start by saying I hate Toledo plow trucks. Last night going to work I went through a intersection turning left. A plow truck must have just went straight through the interesection perpendicular to me. So I crossed the intersection with making a left hand turn where the trail of snow and ice was left by the truck. Bam! F*&*ing hit a median curb that was not visible to anyone. My left front hit it pretty hard so I pulled over into the Kroger parking lot around 11:15pm to find out I have a nicecurb rash and small chunk missing from my rim and the tire is completely flat. I couldn't see s*** so a go to a closed gas station to use the air machine thinking maybe the air just blew from the pressure between the rim and the tire. While pumping air (still in the dark) all I can hear is the air coming out from the other end of the tire. Great and a few other choice words were said. I used my cell phone for lightand saw that it blew a hole about a 2 inches wide in the sidewall. All the lug nuts were frozen on an the wrench in my car was not long enough to unloosen the lugs. So I devised a way to use the car jack as a extention to the arm of the wrench to loosen the lugs before jacking it up and had to be very carfull not to scratch the car. Then I got to change the tires I just rotated 2 days before. Like a good boy took of both left side tires putting the spare in the back and rear in the front. All of this while freezing my ass off in 10-15 degree weather. Good times. All of this because the road wasn't cleared off yet and I had no idea there was a median curb for a small protion of that road. Needless to say I was really pissed off and late to work. All I could think about was hopefully the rim is fixable and life goes on. So now my car is ridin dirty.
