I also found some used kw v1's for 850 w 5k miles little more money but I would get alittle bit back for my cobb springs.
Thanks I dunno its just my DD so Im not sure what I want really I just dont like bouncing all over the place like I do now esp. on the highway it doesnt feel very stable at times. Also I dont want to be breaking my back because Im riding on something with no give so I dunno know.
I uploaded some pics and a few videos from VIR.
Wow, it looks like you have the track to yourself! Its a fun track. I wish I would have been able to learn it better in the one day I was there.
Did you happen to take 58 to get there? I have Porterfield RS-4 brakes on my Trailblazer and I got them to completely fade in a huge ball of smoke going down the twisy 6-mile steep down hill towing my car there at about 2 in the morning with deer everywhere. Uhaul surge brakes don't work very well when the trailer is constanly under a braking load. Would be an awesome section of road in a fun car though!
Ya I took 77 all the way then 58 across. The whole drive was basically amazing twisty mountain roads. I found the most amazing side road going up to Lover's Leap. It's off 77 in the middle of the mountains. I have some video from that, but I'm not going to post it due to the forum's rules about street racing and stuff.
Lovers leap, what a view eh? Jenny and I stopped there with another couple on the way home from the Martinsville Nascar race in October 09. We did not have our 3 then but we did have our 97 Grand Caravan which is not the most fun on twisty roads. Talk about body roll and brake fade!
I would like to see that, can you put it on youtube?
Dang, Bill. Your front spliter is probably worth more than $75 in just material. I'm tempted to buy it for when my ole P5 becomes a dedicated track car... hmmmm...
