The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

I like a simple and clean paint sceme, but ^ that car looks sweet. Some cars can pull it off, but not most. I guess it depends on the design and the look you are going for.

Aggressive fitment thread has officially been lost to herrafrush. It amazes me how ignorant some people are.
LOL at the hellafunctionalflush comment, seriously wtf?!

Yeah, I'm waiting for them to all stop swinging from civickilla's (or whatever his name is) balls. Seriously, they aren't even good wheels (D2's are horrible knockoff's of Work Meister's) and the concavity is weak for a +25...

a 600+ hp awd fiesta can have whatever it wants on the side of it and no one is going to care.... lol

De-tuned from 850hp! (boom08)

Ya, I'm not very happy with the migration from slammed thread to aggressive fitment. And I agree, everybody is fapping about those D2's... I'm over here thinking, who gives a ****? They're Rotas! 25lb ea, non-concave. Ballin on a budget. (shrug)

And that same 17 year old turd, ak46, always tried to lip off to me about how "I don't understand." I would drop my balls on his face if I ever met him in person.

Now, I'm all for mods on a car. But, when it comes to this slammed and stretched stuff it doesn't make sense to me. I only have one car, and to make it not drivable for most of the year just confuses me. There's no way I'd drive a car with rubber bands for tires and no ground clearance around here.

Ya, that's neither here nor there. Although I do have fundamental problems with the fad, I have really never publicly expressed any ill-remark towards hellaflush and the forum members who, in their words "make it a lifestyle." I just have issues with people lying to themselves about their form mods being "functional." Be real with yourself, as I at least commend DUB for doing. He at least admits that he puts form ahead of function in his modding style.

The main thing is just the elitist attitudes that seem to get worse and worse. I didn't even say anything negative to spark this s*** with ak46. He's just an ignorant little high school fan boi who thinks he's the s***. The whole "You just don't understand," argument is retarded. That's what people say when they don't know how to logically defend their point of view. Although, I don't know why I expect logical responses from an illogical crowd.

its true though, even the justanother guy admitted hes keeping a set of wheels for if/when he wants to drive the car hard

its that ak kid or whatever his name is that annoys the hell out of me....

I can take him down a notch and post my fitment that he'd never be able to fit under his fenders. I'm not slammed or flush, but functional.

The thing that bothers me most is when they pretend that it doesn't effect performance. First off, they're running nexan so sunny, or china's best tires. Eh. I'll leave it at that.

You now understand why most of us stay in the ohio threads. Too much drama. Like you said, a bunch of hs kids that don't know jack about a car. Momma and daddy prolly paid for the car and the mods anyway. There was a kid at a car show last summer that had a done up Honda Civic. Turbo, full adjustable suspension, motor/drivetrain work....Heck even had a dyno sheet laminated and taped to his windshield. I asked him if he'd like to meet up for a "cone course" event. He told me he wasn't allowed to track the car. His daddy wouldn't let him. I couldn't stop laughing for a week.

Holy hell. I can only read 3 pages until I want to eSlap someone. Those cats are all retards. Even MY car would be passing all those turkeys on a track, which is where I assume we would all want our cars to be driven on anyway.

I got an invitation to join that Pro5 club a while back and I politely declined and that's the reason why. I don't fit in with their philosophies. If it doesn't make the car faster then what's the point?

Steve, I love your comments though. Haha

This. I think I'm actually getting rid of my team pro5 stickers just for that reason. When I joined it a while back, the club was insanely small and was mostly Hawaii guys that would get together occasionally. I only joined cause I knew it would make the car easier to spot and cause honestly the decal matched my car perfectly. Now there are random members being added and I have never ever done a single thing related to the club. It all goes back when Evan and I had a convo about it the day before the cookout. It's just useless. I'd rather have a couple smaller protege5.com stickers or something in their place. Oh well.

I try to ignore the stupid little herrafrush kids these days cause there's no winning with them. Let them do their thing, rip their sidewalls, rub all the paint off their fenders, and have them rust to s*** because of that.

Anyway, I'm off to reposition my rallyarmor mudflaps that add 15 hp around curves. VTAK yo.

I saw a blog not too long ago covering a HellaFlush event. The writer took good pics, but didn't have a clue what he was talking about. Later on he was gloating about being handed an illest sticker for his auto TC. Sorry, but not my crowd. Since i stated it earlier, i run 18x9 +37 on my 8 with 245/40's. No roll, no rub, not poke and plenty of tire to keep my ass on the road. I could go less offset or wider, but i have no need. My next set of summers will probably be a 245 again even though a 265 will fit with no problem. The car doesn't really need it until i add a lot more driver mod. Besides, Star Specs and R-comps don't stretch too well.
