The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Im in for joining the fun run this time...thinking ahead, we have to do something in fall (sept-oct) when the scenery changes as well.
oh but weekends in july are pretty full for me- maybe 1st week of august...

Lauri, I was thinking the other day, I hope I didn't offend you when I said "I wish I was in the "fast group". Then someone said "I don't know how much faster we really could've gone." and that totally made sense. You're a great driver and that fun run was a complete BLAST. Any faster than that would've been stupid and dangerous, so I apologize for sounding like a d-bag.

And I have to bare in mind you guys usually have lives on the weekends. I don't, really. Haha. Kevin was saying there are some great roads around his Wooster area, maybe he could chime in. I just had a lot of fun at the Fun Run and cook out hanging out with everyone and don't see why it's always 2 months between these kind of meets. I would love to see it as a more regular thing, like every other weekend.

I might have some free time Tues/Thurs from 4 to 7pm next week and was thinking of doing a photoshoot at a parking garage or something on UA's campus. There is another Akron location I want to shoot at, but don't know how to describe it's location. I also want to try rolling shots and stuff (which I'd rather attempt on an empty country road). If anyone is interested, maybe I can meet you on campus and mess around with photography. We'll see how this week goes and then see...

nice...I guess my buddy has an internship with the athletic trainers for the team, so he got a bunch of free tickets--his parents and all of us friends are going down to see him and everything. We used to play together in high school and stuff--I've been playing since I was 4 so....

Hey guys, how would you like to go on a trip to SE ohio for some twisty roads? I went recently with 2 of my buddies to ride the SR 536 or as some call it Ohio baby dragon. Road was a blast and I made a little video. Here it is....

Evan, didn't know you liked soccer, mate! I have stopped playing, but help coach a local high school team in the fall (3rd assistant-goalkeeper coach). You know NC Sports at Lake Rd. and Route 224? Maybe get an indoor league going this winter...huh? huh? huh?

I would suggest Hocking Hills. I heard there are some terrific roads down there.

we want to go on that road...i watched a terrible motorcycle video of it, but the road looks sweet...we always go down to that area for drives when we are bored...we like to just get in and drive a lot

It's an amazing road, very technical...no video can prepare you for the elevation changes or the views....

Next time I go I'll have a proper camera mount. Siblings aren't good camera mounts....

Hey man, the mosquitos are kicking up around the neighborhood again. I'm gonna take the FC around the block real fast... hehehehe.

After talking with a few people, I got a few more ideas to look for. Probably going to wrench on it this weekend because I don't want to spend money. Just wanted to give you a heads up.
