The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

I wish I got paid to sit at home, type on the forum, and watch porn, I mean youtube all day :)

I just stumbled upon something that has potential to cause an issue later in life on a project that i'm working on. I opened a can of worms and have basically made this relatively simple task quite a bit harder. Oh... and it needs to be done today.

I need some real help. I need a receipt or a copy of an oil purchase around March 2011 for my speed to get mazda to do a warenty I lost mine. If some one has one please let me know. Thanks

so, I finally got my review after being here for 1 year. I got a great review so I got a raise for that, AND I was also promoted from Associate Tester to Tester I. Needless to say, I'm very happy right now :)

Sorry, I can't help you out, Tim.

And congrats, Peaches. Mo money for mo modz?

congrats!

I signed up for a 7-day free membership to a gym near work, I figure if I won't go when it's free then there's no need to pay for a membership.

Congrats Pablo! As for the gym membership, wouldn't you be more inclined to work out if you was paying. Sure if you don't work out when it is free it is no big deal, but if you are paying for it then you will be more inclined to get your $ worth out of it?

Does anyone know of a how to or number of bends, degrees, and lenghts for a FMIC for a MSP. When I put my FMIC on ina couple weeks I want it to look legit and not thrown together. I think I'm going to go with a polished and orange engine bay theme. Thinking about polished valve cover, IC piping, and CAI with orange vac lines, hotwires, amd strut bar. I'm going to have to strip the blue paint off the AEM that I have and polish it.

Yes and no, I need to find a good balance between doing stuff and paying s*** off. I need to run some numbers and find a good compromise but I might be able to get a roll bar after all, maybe an event at the ledges with torqued racing

no, I have to treat it like crack, first couple are free and if I get addicted then I'll pay for it

Hmmmmm I'm coming home friday to send Evan the other 50 I owe him, pick up a tmic ( hopefully 2 small ones, one to jam in each fog light hole) and pick up a 626 Im at the junkyard. If i dont get a intercooler I may just work a bundle deal with you for your radiator smic and engine cover. I'll let you know

Thanks, AJ. (kiss)

edit- I must sound like a total fruit loop in the Ohio threads... lulz.

Not sure about the exact measurements, etc but I had my ic piping powder coated flat black along with valve cover, looks good. I can check with the guys @ Big 3 and see if they can provide me the info.

I know quite a few people have painted their brake calipers, but has anyone had them powder coated?

I'm pretty sure I've seen new front calipers on Rockauto for $47 a piece. Maybe just buy brand new and have them powdercoated?

Edit: Corey, your car will look awesome in orange/polish. I would paint the VC orange, though rather than trying to polish it all up... just my opinion!

Potential 6 Wagon in Raleigh, NC. '04, 82K mi, 5sp, leather, new clutch and tires, $7500, probably offer no more than $7000 though, since I'd be traveling over 9hrs to get it.

And I freakin LOVE this feature on the 6 Wagons!! SO useful to keep dogs back there!

I really wasn't looking for a 5sp, but all of my other options for the mileage range are $9000 and even further away, Jacksonville or Houston. Or, I could go over 100K for around $8000 (Jersey 6 Wagon, someone is checking it out for me tomorrow), but I'm having a hard time swallowing paying that much for a car w/over 100K....regardless of what KBB says it's worth! Not sold on White either, but I don't hate it...just never had a White car. For the price, I don't think I'll be able to pass it up, as long as it's a good car. Guy had a heavy accent over the phone, and kept talking over me, so I guess I'll just have to get down there and check it out for myself. You can't beat rust free southern cars though! And I can use all the extra money I was going to overspend on a car towards the baby. lol I won't be able to get down there until next weekend though, so hopefully it'll still be around! It's been on Craigslist for 2 weeks now, might not be much of a market down there for them.
